Happy Birthday Evelynn

What a great time we had for Evie's birthday this year.  Evelynn turned 6 years old this week.  We were so excited!

On Wednesday, the 9th, we celebrated my little girl's 6th birthday.  We had her favorite breakfast, pancakes.  And then we just kind of rested and relaxed.  Mom had some chores and dad had some errands, like picking up the cake and getting a haircut.  Then around noon we woke up the younger girls and had lunch.  Then finally we had cake and presents.

We're all ready for the party!  The kids loved the hats.  We'd never done them before for a birthday.  Even Ally kept her hat on.  Later they were all turned into nice, sturdy paper airplanes.  My kids are recyclers!
We just got a little cake so that mom didn't have so much left over to eat alone or for the kids to steal before mom wakes up in the morning.  It was very yummy and Evie still got her butterflies.  It was a surprise to me how much she still likes the butterfly theme she had when she was born.
Presents from mom and dad - a book called "Cinderella CTR" who won't marry the prince unless it's in the temple and a castle puzzle that requires a lot of thought and planning.
Thank you so much Grama and Grampa!  Painting, coloring and dancing!  Someone knows their granddaughter well!
Wow - Nana and Papa got Evie all ready for Hawaii!  She's so excited!  Fins, mask and snorkel, and a swim shirt - how wonderful!
Thank you so much cousins Parker and Laine Spencer!  These went right up in Eve's room so she could see them a lot.  Don't know how long they'll last, but she loved that her best friend (Parker) remembered her on her birthday.  Thanks Pen-pal!
Lots of fun gifts from Evie's brother and sisters.  They had so much fun picking out stuff for their big sister.  They did it all themselves too.  Play dough, jewelry, princess puzzles and bug stuff!
A kiss and a picture of Eve with her siblings.  They are so good to each other!  How blessed our family is to be so close at such a young age.  Amazing kids!
And finally, a super fun dress-up/make-believe picture with grampa Clint just before the party!  So fun that he could join us for such special moments.  Love you Grampa!
