Towards the end of the summer we get regular visitors. Some of our visitors are rabbits, some are mice, sometimes we get birds that nest under our swing set, and finally, we will get some frogs/toads. This day we found a frog in our little pool. The weather was beginning to cool way down and the frog must've gotten stuck.
They just stood and watched it hop away once mom bravely pulled it out of the pool. It was so cold that day. Sumter, SC has such crazy weather during the season changes. One moment it's sunny and warm and you're thinking, really this is fall, and the next you're so cold your fingers and nose feel like they're gonna fall off and you think, really this is fall? That's what happens in this town. Crazy weather. Poor frog was probably out and about the night before and hopped in the pool. I was shocked it wasn't dead. The water was really cold in the morning.
